PANEL DISCUSSION 1

Innovative Leadership - The Future Of Leadership And Work

A female brain is wired to nurture but to also understand the potential of future. Over the years the numbers of women in senior management roles have not grown exponentially. Grant Thornton in their 2020 study expressed that 87% of the global mid-market companies have at least one woman in a senior management role in the year 2020 though one can see that the numbers in key roles of CEOs or CMOs or CTOs are definitely less. This phenomenon requires to change and this session addresses this that for women leaders aspects of strength, core values, attention to detail, multi-tasking and measured thinking comes naturally, therefore leadership is an inventive force that requires to be harnessed and reclaimed and this is already inherent in women. In this session we explore innovations in leadership.

Time to Unlock the power of women entrepreneurs

A female brain is wired to nurture but to also understand the potential of future. Over the years the numbers of women in senior management roles have not grown exponentially. • Dr Tina Allton – Speaker

PANEL DISCUSSION 2

The Future of Entrepreneurship

If one were to study the varied statistics on women labour force women would account for only for 35% of the workforce but an interesting statistic is that if women’s unpaid work were assigned a monetary value, it would constitute between 10-39 per cent of a world GDP. However, women tend to have less access to social security, financial institutions in fact they are a leading data point exemplifying the digital divide as women tend to be one of the groups that do not have access to technology. In such a backdrop economic growth does take a kick, therefore this session explores that not only education but entrepreneurship could hold the key to empower women and therefore facilitate the economy. Discussion revolving this entails that economic empowerment is indeed the key to gender empowerment, one without the other is meaningless.
